The aerodrome is a popular choice for a wide range of aircraft from microlights, vintage, agricultural and training aircraft to the larger multi engine aircraft such as the Beechcraft King Air or DC3.

The clubrooms are available to use during hours (unless arranged prior), with tea/coffee, wifi and toilet. There is also the Ashburton Aviation Museum which has a wide variety of aircraft and is located southeast of the MCAC clubrooms (more information available here).
